Crayon for Change | Krijten tegen krenterigheid
Education is once again being used to balance an irresponsible budget, resulting in more than 500 million in cuts, most notably impacting our international community through the WIB that will eliminate many english language programs. Education is an investment, NOT an expense. That’s why students across the Netherlands are taking action in a new wave of protests. Thanks to our previous efforts, the long-study penalty has already been scrapped—let’s work together to eliminate the rest of these budget cuts as well. Every voice counts, so join the protest on April 10th and speak out!
Tilburg University has not yet planned to close the campus on April 10th to ensure everyone can attend the protest. Do you want our university to stand in solidarity with the strike? Sign our petition to ensure that everyone who wants to protest has the opportunity to do so.
Would you like to leave a message for the government or show your support for the upcoming protests? Then come by Vigilante on campus on March 25 between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to Chalk for Change. With this chalk protest, we show our support for the resistance against irresponsible budget cuts in the lead-up to April 10th.
So, join us this Tuesday between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM at the Tilburg University Library, sign our petition, and bring all your friends, colleagues, and family to the protest on April 10th. Together, we protect our education. Together, we make a difference.

Het onderwijs wordt weer gebruikt om een onbehoorlijke begroting rond te krijgen, met meer dan 500 miljoen aan bezuinigingen tot gevolg. Onderwijs is een investering, GEEN kostenpost. Daarom komen studenten in heel Nederland in actie voor een nieuwe ronde aan protesten. Door onze eerdere inspanningen staat er al een streep door de langstudeerboete, laten we ons inzetten om deze streep door de rest van deze bezuinigingen te trekken. Iedere stem telt, dus kom op 10 april protesteren en spreek je uit tegen de bezuinigingen!
Tilburg University is echter nog niet van plan om op 10 april de campus te sluiten. Wil jij dat onze universiteit solidair staat met de staking? Teken onze petitie zodat iedereen die dat wilt kan komen protesteren.
Wil jij een bericht achterlaten voor het kabinet of steun betuigen voor de komende protesten? Kom dan op 25 maart tussen 11:30 en 14:00 uur langs bij vigilante op de campus om te krijten tegen krenterigheid. Met deze krijtactie laten wij onze steun voor het verzet tegen de onverantwoorde bezuiningen zien in de aanloop naar 10 april.
Dus kom aanstaande dinsdag tussen 11.30 en 14.00 naar de universiteitsbibliotheek in Tilburg, teken onze petitie en neem al je vrienden, collegas en familie mee naar het protest op 10 april. Samen beschermen we ons onderwijs. Samen maken we een verschil.
